The Swiss family held fashion retail chain Modissa has commissioned to Matteo Thun & Partners the refurbishment of it’s flagship store in the Zurich city center.
Situated in a building of 1974, which is protected as cultural heritage, the five-storey female fashion shop will feature light-flooded interiors expressing the same transparency and lightness as the wide, glazed façade. All clothes racks and loose furniture are created with tubular metal structures in burnished brass, reflecting the structural elements of the outer shell of the building.
Accents in dark grey and black as well as the brushed, bleached oak floor confer a sense of distinct elegance to the environment.
