LONDON.
Now in its fifth year, the RIBA Regent Street Windows Project matches cutting-edge RIBA architects with some of London’s most prestigious retailers to create stunning architectural installations in shop windows along and around London’s Regent Street, W1.
This year fifteen architecture practices will work with fifteen retailers to create a sequence of stunning architectural installations on Regent Street, Heddon Street and Brewer Street.
These unique and eye-catching displays demonstrate the innovation and creativity of architects while demonstrating the retailers’ commitment to quality design. The installations both enhance the retail experience for the customer and increase footfall for the retailer. The architects meanwhile get a unique opportunity to demonstrate their flair and creativity to a new audience.
This year the installations have been working for three weeks from 1-21 September 2014 and have coincided with both London Fashion Week (12-16 September) and the London Design Festival (13-21 September).
