LONDON.
A bespoke chandelier created by Studio Roso using large-scale mirrored discs will be included in Hampton Court Palace’s upcoming exhibition “Secrets of the Royal Bedchamber”. The dramatic lighting piece will be suspended from the ornate ceiling at Hampton Court’s Baroque Palace over a set of stairs that lead into the bedchambers.
“Mirror Chandelier” is a part of Studio Roso’s “disc series” and is made up of thousands of metallized discs suspended on an intricate branch structure that act as supporting arms. The lighting installation was commissioned by London-based design consultancy, Universal Design Studio.
