Introducing Dimorestudio’s latest retail project for the French Maison LANVIN, located in the business heart of Shanghai. Reflecting the brand’s new creative direction, this exclusive store concept will be progressively rolled out in other retail spaces in the world.

Solid surfaces are perceived as smooth curtains, establishing an illusion effect: the undulated panels can be seen as a reinterpretation of Richard Serra’s large-scale abstract metal sculptures and, everywhere else, cement walls, floors and pillars are overlooked by a black painted ceiling. In sync with the contemporary and artsy mood evoked, the project includes decorative furniture as armchair Poltrona 081 by Dimoremilano and emblematic T1 side table by Tecno.

This 280 sqm space represents a natural and impeccable merge between fashion and art. Real draped curtains cascading from a black painted ceiling reinforce the ambiguity impression, whilst, at eye level, these are adorned with transversal hanging bars showcasing the latest ready-to-wear items designed by the Maison’s Artistic Director Bruno Sialelli. Bespoke rugs mixing lines and circular forms together with white sofas and armchairs from Paradiso Terrestre’s Mantilla series complete the equation.vishopmag-revista-magazine-escaparatismo-visualmerchandising-lanvin-store-by-dimore-studio-retail-design-1  vishopmag-revista-magazine-escaparatismo-visualmerchandising-lanvin-store-by-dimore-studio-retail-design-3 Photos: Paola Pansini/Dimor Estudio.
