LONDON.
HASA have recently completed a new installation for GANT’s new flagship store on Regent Street. Its opening coinciding with the switch-on of Christmas Lights in Oxford Street was a big event for the fashion house, that has been recently re-branded.
The proposal involves introducing a new precious material brass, in juxtaposition with the raw material of concrete to the space. Using repetition of a single element, a circular timber dowel, a diverse field of glimmering vertical lines adds interest and a sense of visual spectacle to the store.
Beginning as a screened lining to the Wall and allowing for shelves and hanging rails to hang uninterrupted, the timber dowels transition into the space for use within the window display and the brass rods as stratified formwork for the central cast podium.
